If you keep referring regularly, keep these terms accepted before ongoing payouts. Full materials / scripts / lists may still wait on an accept when we share them.

Who this is for
- BrightReel Media — brightreelsmedia.online. We build websites and video for local businesses.
- You — an independent partner. You find fit businesses and book calls. You are not an employee, and you do not speak as BrightReel staff.
How to start
- Talk / intro first. Message BrightReel. Ask questions. Introduce a fit shop. No partner-terms signature required to chat or make that intro.
- Platform offer: if we met on Upwork (or similar), accept the offer we send — that is your work contract for pay. Upwork pay stays on Upwork for 24 months.
- First verified paid deal: when the first qualifying purchase is confirmed and the first $240 payout path opens, accept these partner terms (form below). Off-platform pay also needs W-9 / W-8BEN before payout.
- Ongoing partners: keep terms accepted before regular / ongoing $240 payouts. Accept earlier anytime if you want full scripts, lists, or demos.
- ~$800 gate: after about $800 earned (or before any pay outside Upwork), we send any longer IC / tax packet still needed.
Pay — $240 when they actually buy
- You earn $240 USD for each customer you referred whose first real purchase goes through.
- A booked call is not a payout. The customer has to pay.
- One $240 per customer unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We check that the sale is yours before we pay.
- We do not promise how many deals you will close, or any income.
How you get paid
What the customer pays us is not how you get paid.
- If we met on Upwork: for 24 months, every dollar we owe you — including the $240 — goes only through Upwork. No PayPal, Stripe to you, wire, cash app, or side payments. Calling the work “affiliate” does not change that.
- After 24 months, or after Upwork’s official off-platform process (with their fees paid), we can change how we pay — in writing.
- If we did not meet on Upwork: we agree how you get paid. We will ask for a tax form before the first payment that is not through a platform.
- We will never ask you to leave Upwork or take side pay to “save fees.”
Tax forms
- You handle your own taxes.
- If pay stays on Upwork, you do not need extra tax forms to start.
- If we pay you outside Upwork, we ask for a US tax form or the non-US form first.
- After you have earned $800 in commissions (or before any pay outside Upwork), we send a longer agreement and any forms we still need. About four closes at $240. You do not need that packet to begin.
What you do
- Find businesses that need a website or video. Introduce us honestly. Book a call. Hand them off warm.
- Use the playbooks we give you.
- You do not set prices, close the sale, or sign anyone up unless we say so in writing. Sales stay with BrightReel.
Rules from day one
Break these and we can end the work and hold unpaid commissions tied to the break.
- Use your real name. Honest subject lines. A real mailing address where the law asks for one. A working unsubscribe.
- Stop when someone opts out. Do not email people who already said no.
Calls and texts
- Live manual dialing only, unless we approve something else in writing.
- Do not send marketing texts, or use auto-dial / recorded / AI-voice calls, unless the person clearly agreed first.
- Honor do-not-call lists.
Where leads come from
- Use lists we give you, or lists you got the right way.
- No scraped contacts sold as “opt-in.” No bought spam lists.
Facebook and social
- Only post where the group or page allows it. No spam DMs.
- Say you are an independent partner — not BrightReel staff.
- Use your own Facebook account. Do not make fake “Name BrightReels” accounts. There is one official BrightReel Page.
- Do not fake your city to join local groups. If you are not there, use national or general business groups.
Be honest
- No fake prices, results, or earnings. Do not pretend to be us.
Our name and our materials
- You may say you are an independent partner for BrightReel Media.
- Do not make pages, ads, domains, or handles that look like official BrightReel without written okay.
- Scripts, lists, playbooks, demos, pricing, and client names are ours. Use them only for this work. Do not share them.
- Either of us can stop. Email is enough.
- When we stop: delete our materials when we ask (or right away). Stop using the BrightReel name. That still applies after we part ways.
If we disagree
- If something goes wrong, we only cover commissions we paid you in the last three months. We do not cover extra losses.
- Wyoming rules apply, unless Upwork’s contract says otherwise for that job.
- If we hired you on Upwork and their payment rules clash with this page, Upwork wins on how you get paid.
Accept at first deal (or sooner)
Not required to chat or introduce a shop. Required on the path to your first verified $240 payout, and before regular ongoing payouts. Use it sooner if you want full materials. This is not a Stripe payout signup. The longer agreement still waits until the $800 mark, or until we pay you outside Upwork. Off-platform payouts also need W-9 / W-8BEN first.
